SUBEB Secretary praises Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to education, lauds Pankshin North PDP for endorsing his 2027 re-election

The Secretary of Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Tang’an Panchin Emmanuel, has commended the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for his transformative approach to education in the State.

The Secretary made the commendation during a One-Day Strategic Grassroots Engagement with Pankshin North Critical Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, organized by the Liaison Officer to the Executive Governor of Plateau State for Pankshin North Constituency, Ebenezer Chinang.

Tang’an said Governor Mutfwang’s administration has made significant investments in the education sector through the construction of new classrooms/renovations, and provision of motorized boreholes for portable water supply, the provision of furniture and conducive learning environments, teachers’ welfare, and the strengthening of partnerships with the Universal Basic Education Commission to advance public education in Plateau State through teachers’ capacity building.

He noted that the efforts demonstrate the Governor’s commitment to transforming the education sector in Plateau State, aligning with the goals of the Universal Basic Education Commission.

The Secretary commended the Liaison Officer to the Governor for organizing the meeting, which he noted would go a long way in fostering unity among the party members.

Tang’an thanked the stakeholders for endorsing Governor Mutfwang for re-election in 2027, describing it as a collective and deliberate decision, urging people to rally behind His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, to succeed.

The Secretary pledged his readiness to work actively towards the realization of the Time is Now administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang to succeed in the task ahead.

He called on citizens across the state to continue to support the Governor to succeed.

The Secretary noted that with the laudable effort of His Excellency to digitalize basic education in Plateau State, the support of parents, stakeholders, teachers, and the children is needed to support the system to work.

He noted that data collection is key to improving the system. He advised the critical stakeholders responsible for data collection to do justice and give correct data to improve the standard of education.

He thanked the NGOs, private organizations, and UBEC for supporting Education in Plateau State under the present administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang in the State.

The SUBEB Chief Scribe also appreciated the Hon Commissioner of Education, Kachollom Gang, the Executive Chairman of PSUBEB, Hon Brld Sunday Amuna, and the Management of the Board, as well as the critical stakeholders for their contributions towards the success of education across the State.

The Secretary noted that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, is committed to the basic educational sector, and all the projects constructed by the administration will be commissioned by the Board.

He emphasized and warned that those who are vandalizing SUBEB projects across the state should stop or face consequences.
