Dimka praises peaceful LG election

SENATOR Hezekiah Ayuba Dimka, Senator representing Plateau Central Zone has applauded the peaceful conduct of the local government council and councillors elections in Kanke.

While voting at his Tuwan polling unit, he appealed to the voters to vote without sentiment, however, maintained that the Kanke APC  chairmanship candidate, Henry Jan Gotip stood a better chance of taking the local government council to greater height.

Speaking at the same unit where she voted, Mrs. Tamwakat Weli, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture and Hospitality said she was delighted with the conduct of the voters and officials at the units visited.

The APC candidate for Kanke local government council, Henry Jan Gotip thanked God for the opportunity that has been opened for him to serve the people of Kanke.

He noted that Kanke deserved to be at a level that would be appreciated, saying he was ready to build on what has been started by the outcome administration.

Also at the Kudum Unit C and Dawaki Unit where a number of voters had converged to vote, Senator Dimka appealed to them to ensure they supported the APC candidates.

He took time to visit the Village Head, Nde Solomon Goyol where he praised him for maintaining peace in his domain; while appealing to the youth to desist from taking illicit drugs.

The Village Head thanked the Senator for finding time to visit the palace appealed to him to help in making good laws and consider some of his sons and daughters who have remained without jobs.

At the Palace of Ngolong Dawaki, Nde Julius Dimbak Gombwir, Senator Dimka praised the chief for encouraging his subjects to be peaceful at the polls.

The Senator from Dawaki proceded to other polling units while encouraging voters to be peaceful throughout and after the election
