The Gindiri Old Students Association (GOSA), has paid a solidarity visit to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang at the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos, recently.

Welcoming them , the Governor said he was highly elated with the visit, saying it evokes a lot of past memories. He added that being in Gindiri laid the foundation for his spiritual understanding.

According to him, he was proud to be a member of the association, stressing that the position he currently holds comes with a huge responsibility. He assured them that he would not disappoint them while discharging his duties as the Governor of Plateau State.

Governor Mutfwang informed GOSA that the challenges before the present administration were enormous because of the mess they met on ground which he described as ” Unpleasant”

He posited that his doors were widely opened for constructive criticism as well as counselling to enable him move the state to the next stage of development.

The Executive Governor therefore commended the old students for giving back to their Alma mater saying that the structures were looking as if they were built yesterday and urged them to keep the spirit.

Earlier, the President of the Gindiri Old Students Association (GOSA), Engineer Sunday Hyat said they were there to celebrate and congratulate him over his victory at the polls and at the tribunal.

The GOSA members who came in their numbers accompanying the executive members said their members always stand out in any assignment bestowed on them. They called on Mutfwang to follow that path so that posterity would be fair to him.

Engr. Hyat explained that this year, they would celebrate a mini convention on 4th November, 2023 and they would recognise some of their members who have been elected and appointed into key positions. He used the opportunity to invite Mutfwang to be part of the convention.
