LG staff urged on dedication to duty

STAFF of Jos North Local Government Council have been encouraged to be punctual and be dedicated in their duty to justify their monthly earnings.

This was contained in a press release signed by Information Officer ll, Jos North  Local Government Council, Na’ankwalem Dennis Miba’am and  made available to THE NIGELRIA STANDARD  in  Jos  the  Plateau  State  capital.

Acting  Management  Committee  Chairman  of  the  LGC,  Solomon  Danshetu  Sanda  gave  the  encouragement  while  addressing  staff  of the council at the local government chamber.

Sanda warned that his administration will not accept truancy, absenteeism and rumor mongering noting that any person who indulge in such acts would be sanctioned in accordance with civil service rules.

The tripartile meeting between the Acting Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Solomon Danshetu Danshetu Sanda, Union and Staff of Jos Local Government was part of the chairman  engagement to get acquitted with staff and share ideas of his administration.

Represented by the Director of Personnel Management, Asebe Pienput, challenged staff to be proactive and committed in their duty for the growth and development of the local government.

The chairman assured staff of a harmonious working relationship in order to transform the Local Government.

He also appealed to staff to be sincere in their daily activities and to advice the political class to appropriately get things done right adding that any person or persons found diverting revenue meant for the council shall be dealt with accordingly.

The Secretary Nigeria Union of Local Government employees NULGE, Steven Wuyep who spoke on behalf of his colleagues tasked the Council Management to clear the backlog repatriation and other  staff entitlement.

He assured the acting chairman of total loyalty to enable him  succeed in his assignment.
