Nigerian Youths are ready for politics

A thirty six year old aspirant for the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mohammed SaiduEtsu has officially declared his intention saying Nigerian youths are ready to take up political space.

While presenting himself with a number of youth groups in the state at the party secretariat in Minna, Etsu presented to the state party chairman, Hon.HaliruZakariJikantoro with ‘APC Reset Agenda’ mission that would propel the party in the country.

While seeking for the Niger State party support and blessing, Etsusaid  ”if I emerge as the chairman in the forthcoming National Convention, my mission is to bring positive change and rebrand the Party APC, I will also ensure party supremacy which is part of the reason why am here, I will build strong internal democracy and ensure quality reward system for party members”, he lamented.

He stated that the country is currently in dire need of change which according to him, only young vibrant, visionary, experienced and non sentimental leadership like him can build a party of Nigerians dream.

Etsu who said he has the blessing and support of Governor Sani Bello, applauded president Muhammadu Bihari for signing into law the ‘ no too  young to run’ bill indicating the confidence he has in Nigerian youths, however appealed for the support and blessings of the party in the state.

“I contacted the Governor this morning and he said he is in full support though he said he is out of the country that I should go ahead and see the party chairman, if he comes back to the country, he would give me warm reception”, he explained.

Responding, the state chairman of the APC, Hon. Haliru Zakari Jikantoro urged the aspirant to get across to the leader of the party in the state governor Abubakar Sani Bello, assuring that the party is hundred percent loyal to him while awaiting the governor’s direction.

Jikantoro stressed that youths occupy strategic position who determine election results in the country and encouraged him for his focus and determination, he then assured him to feel at home with the party and therefore blessed him and wish him success.

The spokesperson of the group and the State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Bello Sheriff commended the party leadership in the state who are mostly youths.

He reiterated that youths have contributed immensely to the development and growth of the country and will continue in that regards if given the opportunity to serve considering the agility and strength of the youth, assured to mobilize youths across the country to vote massively for APC come 2023 if given the opportunity to serve.
