Public Complaints Commission seeks collaboration with PPC

COMMISSIONER, Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Plateau State, Hon. Abbas  Abdullahi Garba has seek for collaboration with Plateau Publishing Corporation (PPC), particularly in the area of publicity.

Hon. Garba stated this when he led the management staff of the commission on a courtesy visit to the General Manager PPC,  Dr. Boniface Gwotbit in his office in Jos, last Thursday.

He said that, the purpose of the visit to different organizations in the state as to interact and also brainstorm on issues that would further improve the work of the commission in the state.

Hon. Garba told the PCC management that, the commission is added with the responsibility of receiving public complaints from individuals, groups and organizations, adding that, the commission stands for nothing but social justice is its responsibility.

He noted that, the PPC also advocate for good governance, stressing that, the commission also provides fair play in treating all the complaints lodged before it, irrespective of religion, tribe and political differences.

Responding, General Manager PPC, Publishers of THE NIGERIA STANDARD and SUNDAY STANDARD, Dr. Boniface Gwotbit expressed delight for the PCC visit to the corporation and assured them of the PPC’s readiness to partner with the commission, especially in the area of publicizing their programmes and activities in the state.

Dr. Gwotbit also told the commission that, PPC despite challenges faced, the organization still remain active with the new City-line machine now being put to use but is yet to resume its daily production, adding that the Cactus exercise book is equally back to life.
