SDP poised to wrestle power from APC in Katsina

THE Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Katsina State, Alhaji Bello Safana said that the party will take over power from All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state in the 2023 elections.

Safana who stated this while briefing newsmen in Katsina recently, said that people of like minds under the aegis of Katsina Initiative Development Forum Association (KIDA) had resolved to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to achieve its dream.

According to him, KIDA, initially, was a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), but has collapsed to SDP with a view to wrestle power from APC to provide good governance in the State.

“After wide consultations among members of KIDA, we resolved and pitched our tent with SDP because it has similar ideology with our organisation”

“We felt this is the only way we can bring change and positive development by joining politics and contest elections.I think this is the only way we can achieve our mission and vision”

“As am speaking to you now, SDP is contesting for all the posts, right from Gubernatorial to National and State Assembly Seats.”

“Our party is firmly rooted. By God’s grace, we will win all the elections in 2023, Safana said.
