The Senator-elect of the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone to the National Assembly Abuja, Hon. Diket Plang, has expressed his heartfelt sympathy as he condoled the council Chairman of Mangu Local Government Area, over the gruesome murder of so many innocent citizens recently.
This came in a press statement signed by the Director General, Diket Plang for Senate Campaign Organisation, Hon. Benshak Dalop, and made available to SUNDAY STANDARD in Jos, the Plateau State capital Wednesday following the killing of over eighty-five innocent citizens by suspected Fulani militia who attacked and destroyed lives and property in the area.
The statement said, “Senator-elect received with shock and utmost dismay the unprovoked as well as unjustified attack on the people. It is not only barbaric, devilish, but callous for some miscreants to take the lives of fellow human beings for just no reason.
“It is unacceptable to allow innocent souls to just perish in the hands of terrorists who do not value human life. It is high time communities and the security agencies came together to take a decisive position on the menace of these attackers”, he condemned.
The Senator-elect, however, expressed his condolences to the Mangu Local Government Council Chairman, the Mangu Traditional Council and the families of those who lost their loved ones and prayed against any future attacks on his constituents.
