Two major roads for dualisation in Keffi

Nasarawa State’s government has declared its intentions to undertake the construction of two major dual carriage ways in Keffi Local Government and the re-construction of the famous Antau Bridge in the area.

Governor Abdullahi Sule made the disclosure during the presentation of campaign flags to the Chairmanship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Nasarawa Western Zone which comprises of five local government areas in Keffi last week.

According to him, the projects which were in fulfillment of his campaign promises to the people were also designed to provide easy access to the people and also enhance their socio-economic status.

He explained that the road projects would starts from the major Akwanga-Keffi Federal Highway to Antau Bridge up to the extreme end of Nasarawa road while the second one would starts from the Total nound-about up to Nasarawa road also.

Sule who assured that the projects would start in no distant time therefore solicited for the continued support of the people in the area, saying that they should vote for the candidate of the party whom he would have easy working relationship with them for the successful realization of the projects.

“For us to succeed in the realization of these gigantic projects, you must elect people from our party whom we would have an easy working relationship with them” he advised.

The Governor then admonished the people of the area to always maintain their attitudes of being their brothers keepers and respect their leaders at all times saying that since power comes absolutely from God, they should respect and obey all those that were made as their leaders.

Ouman reports that the ceremony witnessed the delivery of solidarity speeches to the state’s government and their party APC.
