Usman eulogizes virtue of late Archbishop Ganaka

THE Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Hon. Shehu Bala Usman, has eulogized the exemplary leadership quality of Late Archbishop Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka and his  propagation of gospel of Christ while as Chief Shepherd of the Jos Archdiocese.

This came in a statement signed by the Senior Information Officer of Jos-North local government, Mr. Philip Eplong,  and made available to Sunday Standard in Jos, the Plateau State capital, where the benevolence of Late Arc Bishop GG Ganaka through his healings, prayerd evangelism and the sacrifice for the salvation of mankind was rated high by the council chairman.

Speaking while at Memorial Mass of Late Arc Bishop Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka at Our Lady of Fatimah Cathedral Jos, the Chairman said the late prelate was a testimony of God’s special love and Grace whose total existence was centered on service to God and humanity saying, “the purpose of man’s life is to love and serve his maker on earth so as live with him hereafter”.

He appreciated the Catholic family  for their commitment in recognizing the late Apostolic of Christ Jesus by putting a memorial mass in his honour pointing out that late Ganaka left indelible marks on the growth of the Church and Nigeria in general through his good work on earth, which would not be forgotten in a hurry.

Usman, assured them of his continuous commitment to embrace all irrespective of religious and cultural beliefs for the growth and development of the area and called on religious leaders to follow the footstep of the late Ganaka by preaching love and peaceful coexistence for the over development of the State and Nigeria in general.

However, there were the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong, Chief of Staff Government House Mr Noel Dongjur and the Secretary to the Government of the State Prof Danladi Atu in  attendance at the Memorial Mass.
