NEWLY elected and inaugurated Chairman and Councilors in the Thirteen Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State have been tasked to rule and conduct the affairs of their people with the fear of God and employ the virtues of probity, accountability and transparency as their watch word.

This according to a former member of the House of Representatives for Karu, Keffi and Kokona Federal Constituency Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has become  imperative with a view to attract divine guidance that would help them succeed in the task ahead of them.

Wadada who is eyeing the Nasarawa West Senatorial Seat come 2023 believed that employment or adopting of such noble attributes would earn them to continue support and confidence of the electorate.

“It has become highly imperative for all those elected to strive hard to uphold the trust and confidence given to them freely by the people and make the fear of God and transparency their guiding light in order to succeed in the task ahead of them,” he stressed.

He then advised the Chairman to always ensure synergy with the Councillors and work in harmony so that they can collectively bring about  developmental activities that would take the people to the next level of peace, unity and prosperity.

To the party executives and other stakeholders, Wadada urged them to always guide and support them so as to do the best things that would attract more support to their party the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Former Lawmaker further admonished them to always endeavour to treat all manners of people with dignity, decorum and respect because their duties is to serve the people diligently in accordance with their oath of office.

Wadada however appealed for continued support, co-operation and understanding from the people stressing that they should keep it at the back of their minds that the Chairman cannot do everything for them.

Meanwhile, Hon. Wadada has formally congratulated the Keffi Local Government Chairman Hon.
