The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in next month’s Bassa/Jos North House of Representatives by-election, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan, has congratulated Islamic scholar and preacher, Sheikh Abubakar Hassan DIkko, on successfully completing his Doctorate Degree of Philosophy (PhD), in Islamic Studies from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The statement stated that, “Baba Hassan in a congratulatory message to Doctor Sheikh Abubakar Hassan DIkko, described him as a prominent Islamic scholar, an impeccable teacher and outstanding scholar who towered above many in the field of learning.
“The renowned scholar is a very lucky man who has successfully brought up his children to pursue the path of discipline and scholarship”
Hassan, who is former Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, said he was proud of Doctor Dikko’s achievement, given his encyclopedia of knowledge and vast influence in the country through his teaching. “it is impossible to find the right adjectives that can best describe his extraordinary virtues and gift,” he said.
“Dr. Abubakar Hassan Dikko’s physical rigour and mental acuity in the pursuit of excellence is to be more equipped with the contemporary Islamic ideals of conveying Islamic teaching towards the unity of Nigeria and the world at large”, he enthused.
According to the statement, the former lawmaker on behalf of his family, friends and political associates, congratulated him for the academic feat he just achieved and prayed to God to grant him power to deploy the knowledge gained in his course to advance a greater and prosperous Plateau and Nigeria in extension.
The House of Representatives hopeful wished him good health and long life in the service of God and humanity.
