PPC staff tasked on indiscipline, truancy

STAFF of the Plateau Publishing Corporation (PPC), Publishers of THE NIGERIA STANDARD and SUNDAY STANDARD have been strongly warned against any act of indiscipline and truancy while discharging their duties.

General Manager (GM) PPC, Dr Boniface Gwotbit gave the warning while addressing staff of the corporation’s at paste –up, recently.

Dr Gwotbit told the staff that the essence of the meeting was for them to rub minds and discuss issues that would further move the corporation forward.

He advised staff to remain committed to work, adding that anyone who takes salary that is not justifiable to what he or she is doing is a sin.

He challenged the staff to continue rally round the management of the corporation with useful advice, so that they would live the organization better than they met it.

Dr Gwotbit emphasized the need for the staff to have attitudinal change, especially those who take pleasure in coming to work at their convenient time, saying that drastic measures would henceforth be seriously taking against such people.

He said that arrangement are still in top year to start productions on the new city line machine by first quarter of 2021 as far as the move between the corporation and PIPC is concern.

The GM also used the meeting to wish all staff of the corporation merry Christmas and New Year in advance and also prayed God to protect and guide  them throughout the celebration.
