Ropshak launches world class creative hub

A business tycoon and a creative minds explorer of young people, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kefiano Autos, Chief Kefas Mungak Ropshak, has launched a world class creative hub where over one thousand, seven hundred youths would groom in different modern time’s skills.

This took place at the newly commissioned Kefiano Creative Hub Head Office, opposite Secretariat Junction in Jos, the Plateau State capital recently, where people trooped in from all fields of endeavours to witness what could best be described as the first of its kind in the state.

The Founder of the creative hub, said, “This is to take advantage of potentials in the creative industry. This, I will say and continue to say that the ecosystem in the creative industry is such a big one that can accommodate a lot because it is a money making industry and that is the truth.

“I am of this school of thought that Plateau people need to key into the next generation of technology because that is the way forward and that is the truth. We will not be left behind because we have all the potentials and human capital to key into the recent economic drive.

“I have always said that the way the economy is changing is moving gradually from oil to IT, agriculture and human capital development. These are the major drivers of world economy today and the earlier we Plateau people key into it, the better for us”, he encouraged.

Ropshak, however, called on the Plateau youth to stop wasting their precious time using the social media for ventures that are not beneficial to their lives but concentrate on what could turn around in a shortest possible time because the economy of this world is going towards industrialisation.

He disclosed that KCH would admit over one thousand, seven hundred (1700) youths across the state with hundred (100) each from the seventeen (17) Local Government Areas. He warned that he would not tolerate bias based on political, religious and ethnic bias or discrimination in recruiting these youths.

Earlier, the Manager of the Kefiano Creative Hub (KCH), Sunday Hash-Tag, stated that the vision of the organisation is to position KCH as an innovative centre seeking to develop skills and proffer technological solutions to present day challenges through collaboration to help youth to catch up with the current realities.

Meanwhile, Senator Atai Aidoko, while cutting the tape, described Kefas as an exceptional personality, full of ideas and was not surprised because he has been someone who knows how to teach people how to fish than just eating fish trusting that, this would not generate revenue to Plateau State alone, but the country at large.

There were out pour of commendations from dignitaries who came all the way from Lagos and Abuja as well as clergymen who graced the occasion. There were some mind blowing and thrilling dances display from young talented stars respectively.
