With the quest to effectively manage activities of the Tenth Assembly and ensure optimal performance for the good and benefit of the people of Plateau, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Thomas Sule has constituted twenty four (24) House standing committees.
You would recall that the speaker had earlier in July, constituted five (5) House Standing Committees which included that of Selection, Rules, Business, Inter-governmental and Inter-parliamentarian, House Services and Welfare, Labour and Security and that of Fund Management.
After the pronouncement during plenary, the Rt. Hon. Speaker instructed the clerk of the House to expeditiously prepare and submit to his office the list of members who will serve as secretaries to the respective committees. He however, instructed that no Director should be appointed secretary of any committee, adding also that no committee should embark on an oversight function without his consent and approval.
