Exemplary leadership critical for national growth – CDS

This was the view of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, when he paid a courtesy visit on the Plateau State Governor,  Caleb Mutfwang at the New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos, on Monday.

The CDS, while appreciating Governor Caleb Mutfwang for providing good leadership towards the development of the state despite its security challenges, noted that such exemplary qualities were needed for the transformation of the country.

The CDS, who assured communities in the state and other parts of the country of the Armed Forces’ readiness, determination and commitment towards working for the maintenance of peace, warned against indiscipline which, he said, would not be condoned.

Governor  Mutfwang lauded General  Musa’s efforts in maintaining peace and advocated the deployment of technology for intelligence gathering, saying that it would further weakened the perpetrators of violence.

He pledged the government’s continuous support, in addition to operating an open door policy to carry everyone along for the promotion of unity and peace.
