The Israeli-Palestinian war which started after a terrorists’ attack by Hamaz against the State of Israel on October 6th 2023 where over 1,400 innocent lives were lost is beginning to take a more dramatic and complex dimension around the globe. Since this deliberate act of genocide against the Jewish state, there have been miscellaneous display of hatred, misinformation, promotion of mythical religious interests and fallacious ideologies aimed at setting the entire on fire.
For avoidance of doubt, religious extremists are cashing on the unfortunate unfolding developments in the Middle East to proliferate baseless historical narrations just to suit their barbaric intentions even at a high cost of many souls. Many of such religious bigots have thrown humanity to the trash and only intend to infiltrate weak minds to hurt many more innocent people.
Unbelievably, yours sincerely has witnessed mobilization of vulnerable citizens across nations of the world in their scheme to gang-up and annihilate this Jewish nation from the face of the earth. Be they Hezbollah, Hamaz and or militant groups in Iran, their pragmatic intentions are to wipe out the Jews from the surface of planet earth.
Sad enough, even here in Nigeria, some hardliners have started spreading this toxic ideology to the citizens of this country. A few days ago, an Islamic cleric hypnotized his followers claiming that the fight in Gaza was against Muslims faithful the world over. While dogmatizing them, the cleric urged the faithful to contribute anything they have and ensure that they prayerfully and or otherwise seek for the extermination of the Jewish State. Certainly, this is not the right time to get me wrong, because of the obvious fact that no sane individual would accept the humanly created catastrophe in Israel and Gaza Strip right now.
For the records, since the most recent war erupted, Palestine have lost more than 8,000 of its citizens while Israel has lost close to 1,500. Aside this, the Israelis are also claiming that about 223 of their citizens have been kidnapped and taken into several tunnels in Gaza. From whichever dimension this war is analyzed, the truth is that innocent people are the victims of this carnage.
But again, for us to have a definite headway, we must accept the really of the fact that this war was brought upon Israel by this ruthless Hamaz terrorists themselves. Before October 7th 2023, life was going on normally in the State of Israel. In fact, all communities there were gulped by the traditional Jewish festival before Hamaz attacked these places.
Though the Israelis and Palestinians have over decades been able to manage fragile peace, no one ever expected the terrorist group to launch such a sophisticated aggression which eventually led to the death of over 1,400 innocent lives. However, an investigation subsequently revealed that the violent aggression of Hamaz into Israel was planned for over two years running before its eventual execution in such a brutal manner.
It is not hidden fact that since the State of Israel was created in 1945, there has been an ongoing battle over land occupation in the region. This decades long feud that led to the death of many innocent souls in the midst of several attempts by regional and international bodies to finding lasting solutions to this unabated conflict has equally continue to generate great concern.
The inability of global bodies to find lasting solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has brought us to where we are today. Unfortunately, many derailed scholars and religious bigots have continued to fuel all sorts of hatred concerning the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. It is also a pity that even here in Nigeria, some illiterate clerics have continued to misinform citizens about the conflict. The last time I checked, some of these spiritual leaders were insinuating that the conflict was an attempt towards killing and provoking global Muslims faithful. Many of these cynics are also claiming that the United States of America is assisting Israel to commit acts of genocide against Palestinians in the Middle East.
Unfortunately, many of these pro-Palestinian advocates have little or no idea that the ongoing conflict has nothing to do with religion, race or ethnicity. In fact, the conflict is all about land related issues and the inability of both sides to come to terms with the reality on ground. For the avoidance of doubt, the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts dates back to 1947 after the United Nations adopted the Resolution 181, a Partition Plan which sought to divide the British Mandate of Palestine into Arab and Jewish States. On the other hand, while the Palestine claim that the land belongs to them, Biblical history clearly indicates that the promise land had been given to Israel long before now.
Without acts of provocation, in early hours of October 6th 2023, the militant Islamist group crossed over into Israel storming the southern cities killing over 1,400 lives and injuring many others. The attack which took the Jewish State and the global community by surprise was one of the most barbaric incidences to have happened in most recent times.
In the midst of this calamity, the Israelis were able to pull themselves together and defend themselves from acts of annihilation meted them. As it is today, many people have quickly forgotten that it was Hamaz which started this war. They have forgotten that Hamaz should be given no place in modern civilization.
Now that Israel has successfully not only repelled these attacks but is pursuing these criminals at a high cost on the Palestinian people, these cynics are bitterly complaining that innocent citizens are being killed in Gaza.
Certainly, this is the kind of world we are all living in where acts of wickedness are not condemned but acts of self-preservation are vehemently condemned in its totality. For those who care to read me please, let them know that the world will never be peaceful with extremists and fanatical groups in the likes of Hamaz existing on planet earth. Therefore, the only option left is for Israel to help our civilized world do the needful for the sake of global security and peace.
