PLSG constitutes Visitation Panels for state – owned institutions

Executive Governor of Plateau State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang in his determination to revamp the education system in Plateau State, has recently constituted Visitation Panels to all state-owned higher institutions with set terms of reference.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Hon.Commissioner, Ministry of Higher Education, Plateau State, Dr. Kachollom Pyam Gang and made available to THE NIGERIA STANDARD on Tuesday.
The statement added that the panels would examine the status and quality of programmes being offered by the institutions, the quality of management and staff utilisation of resources, relationship with stakeholders, among others.

The commissioner is calling on all stakeholders to submit their written records or oral memorandum to enable the panels deliver on their mandate.

Gang added that the Visitation Panels have started work in earnest and currently they are in various institutions.

However, all memorandum should be submitted in three (3) copies to either the Chairman or Secretary of each of the Visitation Panels in various state-owned tertiary institutions on or before September 29th, 2023.
