Bature commissions APC Support Group campaign office Miango

Plateau State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Rufus Bature, has commissioned an office for the APC Support Group Campaign donated by Hon. (Mrs) Martina Kure, to kick-start strategic campaign ahead of the general elections.

This took place Thursday in Miango town of Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State, where thousands of supporters and various support groups trooped in to witness the ceremony amidst different cultural dances and display.

Commissioning the campaign office, the APC State Chairman, commended Irigwe chiefdom for supporting the party and the Rescue Administration promising that their hardwork would be compensated and Irigwe sons and daughters would appointed both at the state and national levels.He sympathized the the Irigwe chiefdom for the unfortunate happening that claimed the lives of their loved ones.

Earlier, the Council Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Stephen Andy Igmala, described the Irigwe people as straight forward and could say yes for yes and no for no and that he was confident that Irigwe nation and the entire Bassa LGA would bring out the highest number votes for APC more than any local government in the state.

On her part, the Coordinator of the support group, Hon. (Mrs) Martina Kure, said, the twenty-two (22) different groups at the occasion were being matched under one umbrella and that would collectively work together and ensure that APC wins from top down saying, “we better when we are together. There no going back voting our APC candidates come 2023.

An illustrious son of Irigwe chiefdom and former Commissioner, Elder James Barry, said, the Irigwe people had worked for APC in 2014-2015, 2018-2019 and that they would repeat same saying, “nobody need to convince you that the house of APC, mother of APC, grandfather of APC and great grandfather of APC is in Irigwe land because of the love, passion and support given to APC”.

Also, the APC Chairman of Bassa LGA, Hon. Chogo Yakubu, prayed that APC wins the election come 2023 so that they would have a permanent peace in Irigwe land and Plateau State so that, they would enjoy the dividends of democracy outlined by the APC government.

One of Irigwe chiefdom son, Chief Sunday Audu Gwa, said the Irigwe people would not disappoint APC and that, Plateau State would rise again in love and unity with Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe as the Governor, “because together we stand, divided we will fall. I am very happy with number of supporters here”.

The Northern Zone APC Chairman, Agwom Ata Azi, thanked the Irigwe chiefdom for massive turn out and urged the support groups to work votes and not for money and ensure that they use their PVCs wisely by voting APC from top down.

Meanwhile, the APC gubernatorial candidate of Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, who was represented by his campaign organisation’s Secretary General, Prof. Shem Binds, called on #Generation Next# supporters preach the message peace when canvassing for votes and promised develop the Irigwe land when elected.
