Makinde’s achievements surpass predecessors’ feats – SPANCI

Initiative (SPANCI) has declared that the achievements recorded so far by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has surpassed that of his predecessors.

The Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, made this declaration via a statement made available to journalists at the weekend in Ibadan, the state capital.

SPANCI President, Comrade Yemi Bello, in the statement said that the organisation appreciated the good works of the governor in moving the state forward, which could be attested for by his developmental projects.

He maintained that the governor had beaten all past governors’ records in terms of his inputs in the agricultural, educational, infrastructural, health and other sectors in the state.

Bello maintained, “The IGR the state now generates is a great achievement which is being spent wisely. We appreciate his kind of commitment towards service.”

They commended him “For his support in making the efforts of the state’s taskforce on Real Property Protection and Anti-land Grabbing Law through which justice is being achieved and the offenders prosecuted, which has drastically reduced land grabbing.”

SPANCI also appreciated the governor for signing into law the Rule of Law Enforcement Authority and appointing Justice Aderemi as the chairperson.

Bello disclosed that this is where offenders are quickly prosecuted and mobile courts are in place to reduce traffic of cases.
