The proprietor of Charismatic Renewal Ministry Academy, Jos Pastor Julius Ajayi has admonished parents to dedicate the lives of their children to God, so that they would not be snatched by the devil.

Pastor Ajayi gave the admonition at the 15th Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day of the academy held at the school premises recently. He stressed the need for Christians to encounter Christ in life, adding that the first encounter for a Christian to be successful is to have a close relationship with God while on earth.

The proprietor pointed out that unless the Lord builds the house, the labourers labour but in vain. He pointed out that lack of good parental training of children turns them to become wayward in the society. Ajayi further explained that winning the battle of life in Christianity is irrespective of position or age, but itis about how people go about their lives.

Chair-lady of the occasion, Mrs Uzomba encouraged parents to always teach their children how to communicate with God in prayer at all times in life. She stressed that doing so will help the children to grow up in the fear of the Lord.

Uzomba while commending the efforts of the management and staff of the academy for the good work that they are doing in the school, particularly for the knowledge impacted or instilled in the students, called on the parents to imbibe the spirit of complementing the efforts of the teachers by teaching their wards morals while at home, for them to become more obedient to their teachers in school. Earlier in her welcome remark, Head Teacher, Mrs Benedette Okafor thanked God for making the event a huge success, adding that every graduation comes with celebration and a sense of joy and fulfilment among the students, parents and teachers and the entire school management and staff.

Okafor maintained that nothing excites parents more than them seeing their children achieve greatness in Christ. She appreciated the efforts of the parents for investing in the education of their children and urged them not to relent in their efforts in giving their ward the needed education, since it remains the bedrock of the society. While bidding farewell to the graduates, the head teacher told them this graduation has brought to a chapter closed of their primary level and another yet beginning of a new chapter in their educational pursuit. Okafor equally challenged the graduates to serve as good ambassadors wherever they find themselves in the society.

THE NIGERIAN STANDARD reports that the event featured cultural dances, health talk, presentation of prizes to the best students, Bible recitation, drama, teachers and parents dances, fashion parade among others.
