Gotom debunks claims of withdrawing from tribunal

The Plateau Senatorial Zone aspirant of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Golkuna Yohanna Gotom, has vehemently debunked allegations making the rounds that Senator Diket Plang, has settled him and he has withdrawn his petition before the tribunal.
He stated this recently while in an interview with THE NIGERIA STANDARD in Jos, the Plateau State capital following speculations making the rounds in some quarters that he has withdrawn from the tribunal.
The aspirant said, “This is surprising that some mischief makers who would want to get cheap recognition will cook this false story to either please their principal or confuse the process. A right thinking person should know that this is a document before the court and for anything of such to take place, it must be formally done.
“The person that should be thinking of withdrawing should not be me but Hon. Diket Plang, who stole my mandate. From the onset, it should be clear to you that my mandate was stolen. How can an election result be delayed for more than a month before declaration?”, he questioned.
Gotom, however, cleared air that he was in court to take back his mandate and called on his supporters to disregard any false claim that he has withdrawn his case. He described it as baseless and misleading saying, “we are in court to take mandate!
