Governor appoints 3 journalists media aides, others

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia on Monday appointed three Benue journalists; Mr. Donald Kumum, Isaac Uzaan and Mrs. Bridget Ikyado as media aides.

Mr. Donald Kumum, a former Benue State correspondent of National Accord newspapers has been appointed Principal Special Assistant (PSA) on Print Media, Mrs. Bridget Ikyado of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) as his Principal Special Assistant (PSA) on Media and Publicity/Strategic Communications.

The governor in a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula said others appointed in the media department are Mr. Isaac Uzaan, Principal Special Assistant (PSA) on Media and Content Creation.

Governor Alia also appointed Comrade Angula Reuben – Principal Special Assistant (PSA) on ICT and New Media, Ferdinand Shinyi – Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Strategic Communications, James Asortar – Special Assistant on Social Media and Igbatar Jerry – Special Assistant on Digital Media.

Ahoho Terungwa was appointed Special Assistant on Broadcast Media, Ephraim Lanshima – Special Assistant on Visual Communication (Photographer), Raphael Ajav – Personal Assistant on Videography and Wizzy Wisdom – Personal Assistant on Photography.

The governor also assigned portfolios to some Special Advisers including Mr. Alex Addingi – International Investment, Mr. Fidelis Unongo – Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Others are Mr. Akombo Benedict – Business, SMEs and Microfinance, Mr. Bemgba Anjembe – Agriculture and Climate Change, Dr. Dennis Akura – Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Jonathan Lahave – Legislative Matters.

Dr. Aondona Mkor Aondona – Research, Documentation and Strategy, Akaager Imoter Isaac – LGA Market Coordination and Monitoring and Mr. Jonathan Gyuse – Poverty Alleviation and Youth Empowerment among others.
