Maintain faith in the greatness of our nation – Arase

As Nigeria commemorates its 63rd Independence Anniversary, Dr. Solomon Arase, Chairman of the Police Service Commission and former Inspector General of Police, has urged Nigerians to maintain faith in the greatness of our nation, emphasising that all hopes are not lost.

This was contained in a statement issued by Ikechukwu Ani, Head, Press and Public Relations recently in Abuja.

In his address, Dr. Arase called on the citizenry to take a moment to honor and celebrate the freedom that our heroes fought for and to cherish our rich diversity. He firmly believes that Nigeria will rise again, and the sacrifices made by our past heroes will never be in vain.

Acknowledging that no nation is perfect and that Nigeria has faced its share of challenges, Dr. Arase emphasised that now is the time to shape a brighter future based on love and understanding. He encouraged all Nigerians to unite with the current government and work together to propel our nation forward.

Dr. Arase expressed hope that this special day would be a time of celebration for Nigerians and their loved ones, providing a sacred opportunity to appreciate the precious gift of freedom.

“Be assured that the labor of our heroes’ past shall never be in vain. Nigeria must rise again”.

As the nation reflects on its 63 years of independence, Dr. Arase’s message serves as a reminder of the resilience and unity that have defined Nigeria throughout its history.
