Mwaghavul Microfinance Bank registers support for Mutfwang

The Board of Directors and the Management of Mwaghavul Microfinance Bank Ltd as well as the Nashak Committee of Friends were among the people who paid a courtesy call on Plateau State Governor-elect, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang at Jonah Jang Lodge to felicitate with him on his win at the polls.

The management of the bank led by the Chairman, Board of Directors, Dr.Stephen Hirse said they were there to rejoice with him and to assure him of the bank’s support at all times.

According to Dr. Hirse, the bank was established to cater for those who could not access the services of financial institutions which are mostly based in the urban areas. He added that they have complemented that by effectively serving the downtrodden with their financial needs at the grassroots all over.

He intimated the Governor -elect, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang that the bank has products that the government can leverage on and key into so that the people of the state can benefit.

Dr.Hirse therefore congratulated him and urged him to rule without fear or favour, describing him as an instrument to be used by God.

The Nashak Committee of Friends who spoke through their leader, Mr Ayuba Jwanchin said they are a group of people of like minds with the sole aim of ensuring the welfare of its members.

Mr Jwanchin noted that they have professionals in different fields of human endeavours and requested that they should be involved in the government so that they can put their wealth of experience in order to move the state forward.

Responding, the Governor -elect, Barrister Caleb Manasseh regretted the travails microfinance banks went through over the years in the country but commended the MMFB for weathering the storm.

According to Mutfwang who said selling of the famous Lion Bank which belonged to the state was a great disservice to the people of Plateau State but thanked the MMFB for standing in the gab.

He commended them for rendering qualitative services to the Mwaghavul nation and the state at large.

The Governor -elect equally thanked the Nashak Group of Friends for the visit and expressed the desire to work with him when sworn in.
