This was contained in a statement signed by Blessed Nuhu Commander, Group Public Relations Officer on recently.

The company highlights that a new management team assumed control of NHL approximately two months ago. Since then, no contracts have been awarded by the new management. Instead, their primary focus has been on renegotiating contracts that have expired.

As part of this process, developers whose contracts have expired have been temporarily halted from working until the renegotiations are completed.

NHL emphasizes that it is a registered company with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The company operates strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, as well as other relevant regulatory provisions.

The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer is accountable to a Board of Directors for the implementation of policies and decisions. Therefore, no director or individual possesses the authority to award contracts without the proper approval of the Board.
