 Gindiri compound is a divine plan of God- COCIN President

The advent of missionaries in Gindiri land of Mangu Local Government of Plateau State, has been described as mount Camel and God’s devine plan to breed young Nigerians to the glory of God and to the service of humanity.

The President, Church Of Christ In Nation (COCIN) Rev. Dr. Amos M. Mohzo, disclosed this while playing host to the National Body of Gindiri Old Students’ Association (GOSA), who paid him a courtesy visit to intimate him on its activities marking its 50th anniversary at the COCIN Headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State capital yesterday.

The President who is also the Preprietor of all COCIN schools in Gindiri, was represented by the COCIN General Secretary, Rev. Asst. Prof. Benjamin J. Poko, saying, “we are proud of you for the passion and remembering the schools you passed through and giving back to schools in full in the areas of infrastructure and remodeling.

“Gindiri is like mount camel because of the caliber of students and God messengers it has groomed and brought up in different fields. We thank God Almighty for his grace you to have witness this years of the Gindiri Old Students’ Association (GOSA) at 50.

“We are grateful to GOSA for being more of a proprietor to the schools in Gindiri and we urge you to keep the tempo of love and remember the “For Light and Truth” which is the basis of our training and teaching to the world “, he enthused.

Earlier, the National President of GOSA, Engr. Sunday C. Hyat, said they were in the headquarters to intimate him of the line up their activities marking their 50th anniversary which they had started with road work and sanitation Monday and the would climax with Re-Union Service at the Ulster Church in Gindiri next Sunday.

He appealed to the President to set aside or rather, reserve next Sunday specially for the Reunion Service so the he would be able to attend because they were in dear need of seeing in person to celebrate with them. There were goodwill messages from  Deputy General Secretary, Rev. Dauda Diga Jimra and the first GOSA President, Obed Ogbefor respectively.
