CHAIRMAN of Mikang Local Government Council, Augustine Bako has discribed the Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council, Henry Jan Gotip as a leader with charisma who is interested in the unity of his people, the state and the nation at large.
Bako made the statement when he received the Chairman on a courtesy visit in his office recently, He said he is highly overwhelmed with the visit and congratulated Gotip and other elected members of his Local over the successes at the pools.
He said cross visiting, particularly among Chairmen of neighboring Local Government Areas will futher foster the existing relationship and to also enable them share common ideas interns of developmental programs.
He assured that he will continue to engage them in his all inclusivness Government by given them opportunities to serve.
Earlier speaking, the Executive Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council, Henry Jan Gotip said he was in the Council to congratulate his colleague and other members for the successfull taken over of the mantle of leadership in a domacratic way.
Gotip discribed Mikang as a peaceful environment that accommodates every person not withstanding ethnic or religious back grounds.
The Chairman, Henry Gotip said Ngas people are self disciplined, hardworking and sincered with full of respect to their host communities.
He maintained that they will be encourage to promote the cultural heritage of a Ngas man, especially the celebration of the Ngas festival of Arts which will also enable the younger ones know much and practice.
Gotip stressed the need for his people to also contribute both to the development of the host communities and their Local Governments of origins so that thier influence could be felt in all manners.
