Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has forwarded a list of 9 commissioner-nominees to House of Assembly. Makinde sent the list to the lawmakers for screening and approval.
Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi, made this known recently.
He spoke during the plenary of the Assembly. Fadeyi while reading the list explained that the names included; Mr Abiodun Aikomo, Mr Segun Olayiwola, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu and Mr Mojeed Mogbojunbola.
Others are; Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Mr Williams Akin-Funmilayo, Prince Dotun Oyelade and Mr Obafemi Ademola Ojo.
He added that the nominees are expected to appear before the lawmakers for screening on Tuesday, 25th July, 2023.
Fadeyi while speaking further, added that the nominees are to forward 50 copies of their credentials, evidence of clearance forms of the Code of Conduct to the Office of the Clerk.
