Oando PLC has been described as a corporate giant that has been giving back to the society. They were urged to sustain the feat.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang stated this when the management of Oando Foundation paid him a courtesy visit recently at the New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.
According to him, the state government accords education a special place in this dispensation and called for training and retraining of staff for maximum output.
The Executive Governor also solicited for NEEDS Assessment of the sector so that the challenges bedevilling the sector would be adequately addressed.
While describing the partnership as valuable, he urged the Foundation to extend their gestures to secondary as well as tertiary institutions in the state.
Earlier, the head of the delegation, Adekonla Adedoke, congratulated Governor Mutfwang over his victory at the Supreme Court. He noted that his brief stay in office has brought tremendous achievements.
According to her, the Foundation was set up by their strategic partner ,Oando Plc with a mandate of transforming the lives of children across the country.
Mrs Adedoke told the governor that the Foundation has identified communities that are vulnerable even as she said they were working in synergy with relevant authorities like the SUBEB.
She noted that the Foundation was out to support 20 schools in Plateau State while they had equally supported six schools in the past.
