The PDP supporters in Sokoto State have been ordered to ensure they protect their votes at all costs or lose it to the riggers,

In his speech, the party’s chairman, Aliyu Goronyo advised all its supporters to come out in their large numbers to vote and protect their vote with the last drop of their blood as that is the only way to prove how numerous they are.

He explained that the opposition party, APC will no longer be allowed to use the police or other security agencies to harass, intimidate and snatch their votes from them in the forthcoming governorship and House of Assembly election.

The governor charged the supporters and the party loyalists to be prepared to guard their votes till the counting and registering are seen to be concluded.

Also speaking, Mr. Mustapha Binji, the party’s Youth Leader said the women and youths that form the largest population must work hard and ensure that their votes are not tampered with under any circumstances.

Also in his address, Shetima Goronyo said the forthcoming governorship election will be fire for fire while expressing anger over the deliberate connivance with the relevant security agencies in the February 25th presidential election by the APC.

The party’s Women Leader in the state, Hajiya Kulu Rabah called on the women to ensure that no amount of intimidation scares them away from defending their votes even as the state’s ALGON Chairman, Hon Mustapha Shehu promised that their respective localities will be highly protected.
