Plateau State Deputy Governor, Mrs Josephine Piyo, has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on the celebration of her birthday anniversary.
Piyo described the nation’s number one woman as a virtuous woman who has positively impacted the lives of many.
The Deputy Governor, in a congratulatory message issued and signed by her Press Secretary, Mrs Martha Nyam and made available to news men in Jos, said the First Lady has demonstrated a high sense of commitment and passion for the welfare of the downtrodden and less privileged in the society.
This, she said, was demonstrated when she personally visited Plateau State and donated N500 million to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) who were sacked from their homes as a result of violent attacks in some Local Government Areas in the state.
While appreciating Nigeria’s First Lady, Piyo prayed for many more years of celebration for the First Lady. She further described her commitment to the welfare of the vulnerable in the society especially women and children as second to none.
She also praised the First Lady for being a strong pillar of support to her husband, President Ahmed Tinubu, as he steers the affairs of the nation, adding that her support has greatly impacted in his achievements so far as President.
The Deputy Governor wished her a joyful birthday celebration, long life, good health and prosperous years ahead.
