Chief Akerejola Abiodun, Director General of ‘Renewed Vision for New Direction Campaigns Office for Ododo/Joel 2023, has advised Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan not to allow Dino Melaye, governorship candidate of PDP in Kogi election to drag her outstanding reputation to the mud.
Chief Akerejola also cautioned Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against the use of late Ohinoyi of Ebira Kingdom’s values, His Royal Majesty Ado Ibrahim to canvass for votes for the People’s Democratic Party governorship candidate, Dino Melaye.
Chief Akerejola in a statement made available to our correspondent recently, maintained that Ebira people and the entire citizens of Kogi State were still in mourning mood of their departed royal majesty and warned against the use of his name for campaigns by any political party.
The statement reads; “We commend the royal family of the late Ohinoyi for refusing the exploitation of their father’s cherished legacies for political campaigns in favour of the PDP governorship candidate, Dino Melaye
“We reject the insult and insensitivity of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to use our late Ohinoyi’s reputation to score political gains.
“Natasha must re-trace her steps or else will end in shame. It is really very unfortunate and worrisome for this development”
