JUTH CMD ADMONISHES FUHSO STUDENTS ON HARD WORK

Students of Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, have been admonished to be hard working, determined, dedicated and always strive for academic excellence.

Chief Medical Director, Jos University Teaching Hospital, Jos, Plateau State, Dr. Pokop Bupwatda, gave the advice at the maiden public lecture series of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue South Senatorial District, recently.

The CMD who spoke to SUNDAY STANDARD in an interview on the sideline, said as a thorough bred professional, the students should count it a rare privilege to be nursed by the vice chancellor as according to him, the pioneer VC was someone who pursues his vision irrespective of daunting challenges.

He said the team Professor Ujah has put in place was an assemblage of great minds. And expressed the hope that the institution in the nearest future will become a model for the training of world class healthcare professionals.

The medic who was one of the guests at the event explained that when an institution of learning has quality lecturers, it is sure of producing quality students who will in turn become the nation’s high quality medical professionals.
