The Generation Next Campaign Council Captain and gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, has suspended his campaign tour for three days in the state in honour of some supporters of the People’s Democratic Party who died in an auto-crash along Panyam -Pankshin road.

This was contained in a press statement signed by spokesman of Generation Next Campaign Council, Shittu Bamaiyi, and made available to SUNDAY STANDARD in Jos, the Plateau State capital recently.

According to the statement, Dr. Nentawe on receipt of the news of the accident, immediately cut short his citizen engagement tour of the southern part of the state. He explained that “the suspension became necessary to allow me and members of our party join the PDP, its governorship candidate and the families of the deceased in mourning the accident victims”.

The APC gubernatorial candidate in company of members of his campaign council visited the accident victims at the Jos University Teaching Hospital where he sympathized with them as he was taken round the wards by one of the Medical Doctors, Peter Onumiyan and prayed and wished them a quick recovery.
