Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has advised the state House of Assembly members to set aside partisan politics.
Makinde made this disclosure recently while addressing lawmakers during the inauguration of the 10th House of Assembly in Ibadan, the state capital.
The governor, while addressing the newly inaugurated lawmakers advised them to set aside partisan politics.
He urged the lawmakers to work for the progress of the state.
The governor while speaking, also promised to reduce the number of out of school children in the state.
“I want you to set aside partisan politics and work for the development of Oyo State.
“Our government will reduce the number of out of school children.
“Mr. Speaker and honourable members. We remain firm on our resolve to give good governance to our people”, the governor emphasised.
