Summit proffers solution to women development

In their efforts to find a lasting solution to some problems bothering the development of women in the country,  high profile women in the country held a two days virtual summit in Bauchi last Tuesdy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony the First Lady Hajiya (Dr) Aisha Bala Mohammed,   expressed appreciation for the turnout of the participants at the two-day-virtual summit and expressed hope that at the end of the meeting they would come out with standard solution to the problem.

The meeting which was organised for the wives of Governors of Nigeria and other high profile women in the country, was organised by  the office of the Nigerian First Lady in collaboration with CTP international UK-Nigeria, theme “Etiquette, Protocol’s public hearing and security awareness in post COVID-19″

The Nigerian First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, who was represented by Dr Hajjo Sani, in her address to the participants described the theme of the summit as apt and timely considering its importance to national development.

According to the statement made available to SUNDAY  Standard in Bauchi by the Press Secretary to the First Lady, Murjanatu Musa Maidawa, stated that Others who spoke at the opening ceremony of the summit on different topics are the Minster of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, Ambassador Ms Olajobi Makinwa an international technocrat, and Eugenia Abu of the Nigeria Television Authority among others.

The statement added that  the participants of the summit are expected to come up with the solutions related to the theme of the summit at the closing ceremony.
