We are open for business – NIGCOMSAT

The Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT), Mrs Nkechi Jane Egerton-Idehen has visited Gombe State in search of more clients.

Mrs. Nkechi, while addressing the press after a two day working visit, said she was in Gombe for an awareness campaign on the activities and services of the agency.

She said, “This is a new era for NIGCOMSAT and we are here to ensure our clients, potential clients, stakeholders and partners are aware of this”

She said the duties of NIGCOMSAT as a communication satellite operator, is to enhance communication capabilities and infrastructure for the betterment of the people. And Gombe State stands to benefit a lot from these services for its social and economic development.

According to her, the agency aims to change the perception of people about NIGCOMSAT not just through words, but through tangible actions and results.

“We are determined to make NIGCOMSAT a beacon of national pride with an energised workforce, satisfied clients and national recognition”, she emphasised.

The visit of the Managing Director was also to seek to work with the Gombe State Government not only to offer broadband access but also solutions that can enhance the operations of small and medium enterprises as well as educational and health care services in the state.

“To our present and prospective partners in Gombe State and beyond, I want you to know that we are open for business”, she stressed.

Technology is the engine of every economy and NIGCOMSAT believes it is now better positioned than ever to provide the nation with reliable internet services that will stimulate innovation and other advancements in the tech industry.

NIGCOMSAT also feels its foremost duty as a communications satellite operator is to enhance communication capabilities and infrastructure for the betterment of Nigerians.

That is why it is determined to meet the mandate set by the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy to provide universal, ubiquitous and cost effective access to communications infrastructure throughout Nigeria where the utilisation of ICT impacts all spheres from agriculture, education, health, enterprises among others.
