Plateau State Governor-elect calls for unity

Plateau State Governor-elect, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has called on the Plateau citizens to be united, which he said it must begin in the body of Christ.

He made this call on Sunday during his first church service at the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN Headquarters Church in Jos.

The Governor- elect called for unity for the state to succeed. He said reaching out to his co-contestants will be a priority.

Mutfwang who was at the church for the first time as Governor- elect appreciated the people for believing in him with their votes. He solicited for prayers to take the state to greater heights.

The church was filled to capacity. The Plateau State Governor- elect Caleb Mutfwang, was in the company of his wife Helen and children together with the Deputy Governor –elect, Josephine Piyo.

In a sermon with the topic “Building a Strong Christian Family,” Reverend Sylvester Dachomo underscored the importance of the family as the foundation of Christianity.

Meanwhile, the special prayer was offered for Plateau, his family and that of the Deputy Governor- elect, Josephine Piyo. Prayer was also offered for March babies which the Governor- elect was one of them.

The service culminated with communion service.
