Governor Bala Mohammed, has emphasized that Healthcare service delivery leads his administration’s priority for continuous physical and mental development of the good people of Bauchi State.
The state governor made the remarks when the Project Coordinator of the lmmunisation Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Performing Services, Impact Project, A World Bank Assisted Programme, paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Bauchí recently.
Governor Bala Mohammed who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, said since assumption of office in the state, his administration has been meeting the Abuja declaration of fifteen percent budgetary allocation for the health sector.
While thanking the Project Coordinator and her team for the visit, the governor said Interventions of this nature would assist greatly in addressing the challenges in the health sector.
Earlier in her opening remarks, the National Project Coordinator of Impact Project, Dr Amina Abdul One Mohammed, commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for investing so hugely in the health sector and assured that the Impact Project would assist in strengthening Immunization Plus activities and other health services for continuous result oriented development in Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
