HoS expresses satisfaction with election conduct

PLATEAU state Head of Civil Service,  Sunday Hyat has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of Local Government elections across the state.

This was contained in a press statement signed by it’s information officer, Riyom LGC, Mangut Bitrus and made available to THE NIGERIA STANDARD recently in Jos, Plateau State capital.

Hyat stated this after casting his vote at Ekan primary school Fangroi polling unit 002 in Ganawuri ward of Riyom Local Government area.

The Head of Service commended the Plateau State Government and security agencies for the process. He  said he was impressed with the exercise.

Engineer Hyat also commended people for the peaceful manner they exhibited during the elections.

Also, State Commissioner for Information and Communication  Dan Manjang shortly after casting his vote at Ekan Primary School Rim, adjudged the exercise to be peaceful, free and fair.

Manjang said he was impressed with the turnout of voters to exercise their right by voting candidates of their choice.

Outgone acting  chairman of Riyom Local Government council, Pam Nyango rated the election as one of the most credible and peaceful  ever conducted in the area.

Nyangonoted  the exercise was encouraging as citizens of the Local Government  came out in their numbers to exercise their  right by voting candidates of their choice.
