PLATEAU state Commissioner for Information, Dan Manjang has commended the Plateau state Governor Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong for providing a level playing ground for citizens to exercise their franchise by voting candidates of their choice.

Manjang stated these at Riyom Local Government Council Secretariat when the returning officer of the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, Fanto John announced the results for Chairmanship and Councillorship elections conducted in Riyom.
While congratulating the Chairman elect, MafengGwallson and Councillors for emerging victorious at the elections, the Commissioner urged them to see their victory as a charge by the people to intensify their focus on developing the LGA.
The Commissioner also assured the Governor and the All Progressives Congress of his people’s support at all times.
The Chairman elect for Riyom, MafengGwallson thanked people of the area and the APC for the confidence reposed in him by giving him the mandate to represent them at the local level.
He then assured them of good representation.
Gwallson until his election as Executive Chairman was two term Management Committee Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council.
