Isiguzo solicits support for re-election

NATIONAL President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Chris Isiguzo is soliciting for members’ support for his re-election as the president of the union for a second term.

He disclosed this during a one day visit to the NUJ, Plateau State Council Secretariat together with his team members last Saturday.

He assured union members of his team’s readiness to work hard in taking the union to greater hetights.

Isiquzo also reminded members that three years  ago, he was in Jos on a campaign triped, when he was vying for the position of the Vice President South East zone and he recalled that the council gave him a warm reception.

He added that Plateau State is home to him and also a part of the NUJ Plateau Council.

He stressed that as part of his campaign agenda, he deemed if fit to visit the state together with his formidable team members for re-election as president of  great union.

Speaking earlier, NUJ Plateau State Council Chairman Paul Jatau welcomed the national president and assured him of the council’s support for his re-election bid.

He said that the council would be part of his agenda to move the union higher and equally wished them a successful election.

Members of the team were Alhassan Yahaya, Deputy National President, Ladi Emmanuel, National Internal Auditor, Samuel Dada,  National Financial Secretary, Dele Atumbi National Treasures.

Isiguzo presented mandate pamphlets containing his achievement in office,  believing that the pamphlet would serve as a referendum to assess their performance in office.
