THE Plateau State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted, condemning the statement tagged: “Fear Grips PDP as Appeal Tribunal Starts Sitting” credited to one Shitu Bamaiyi, describing it as vile, malicious, fictitious, false and misleading.

This came in a press statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of PDP, John T Akans, ksm, Fcia, JP, and made available to THE NIGERIA STANDARD in Jos, the state capital as a rejoinder to the statement issued by the #GenerationNext# Public Relations Officer, Shitu Bamaiyi.

The statement stated that, “the attention of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Plateau State chapter, has been drawn to a vile, malicious, fictitious and ill-fated Shitu Bamaiyi’s report on the National and State Assembly Appeal Court proceedings in Abuja.

“His report is not only false and misleading, it is treacherous, full of bile and must be condemned by all. As a party that respects the integrity of the judiciary, we will not delve into a matter that is before the court like Shitu, even when the hearing procedure was done in line with the normal court proceedings.

“Shitu Bamaiyi’s press release leaves us with no other option than to question his current status in the APC, whether he is the publicity secretary or an outside vendor of the party because election has come and gone, and also his professional credentials”, it stated.
According to the State Publicity Secretary, “it’s a shame that the APC in the state is not well coordinated to be a vibrant and knowledgeable opposition. In a futile attempt to sound knowledgeable and because they don’t know, they resort to false headlines and empty rhetoric.

“As a party, we will be doing Plateau State and the people a disservice if we do not alert the public on the worthlessness of the rantings and ramblings of Plateau APC through Shitu Bamaiyi”, he emphasised.

The PDP, advised the good people of Plateau State to be wary of APC’S anti-people false rhetoric, advising the APC to stop making spurious, irresponsible and unsubstantiated claims that betray the bitterness, delusion and angst in them.
“Opposition in politics requires intelligence, tact and criticism not deceit and childish tantrums!

“Plateau people believe in the vision and mission of His Excellency Governor Caleb Mutfwang. Over the past 5 months now, he has not only shown capacity in the management of the human and material resources of the state but in the design of a well established master plan that will become a road-map to a prosperous future.

“The Governor is already laying the foundation for many years with some of the reforms and landmark projects he is set to embark on from the civil service reforms, to basic education, health, power, agriculture, SMEs, culture, sports and security etc”, Akans enthused.
