THE Sokoto State APC has described PDP as a total failure following the facts that while other state governors are busy showcasing their dividends of democracy that of Sokoto State is putting efforts to collect loan worth 28.7 billion Naira.
The chairman of APC Sokoto State Hon. Isah Sadiqu in a press conference said its also disheartening that nobody has been able to unravel where Gov Tambuwal kept all the cash he has been bannering from the funds allocated to the state from presidency and other sources.
He said the few road works he started recently have all gone worse than when he embarked on the reconstruction and renovation exercise as most of them gave way during the recent rainy season due to poor quality and shabby job meant to enrich the contractors, concerned top govt functionaries and the state’s number one man.
The chairman Alhaji Isah Sadiqu also cited the ongoing road project leading from More Town to Federal Science College, in Kware LGA of Sokoto which he said, has started decaying from the beginning towards the centre as a result of makeshift arrangements or poor quality job by the concerned politicians and top government functionaries in the state.
Answering questions, the APC Chairman said plans are in the pipe line to unseat the Sokoto State governor’s political party the unfocused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto, the seat of the Caliphate.
