Former PPC GM takes over as Perm Sec

The immediate past General Manager of Plateau Publishing Corporation (PPC) Jos, Dr. Sir Boniface Gwotbit, has formally taken over the mantle of leadership as the newly appointed Permanent Secretary for the Plateau State Ministry of Information and Communication.

During the handing over ceremony at the Ministry for Information and Communication, JD Gomwalk Secretariat Jos, the state capital Thursday, the outgone Permanent Secretary, Sunday Davou appreciated Directors and staff of the ministry for their resilience in service to humanity.

Davou, who is proceeding to Ministry of Higher Education, called on the directors and staff of the ministry to accord the same cooperation and support given to him while serving as Permanant Secretary to his new successor for him to achieve the desired results.

Responding, the incoming Permanent Secretary, Sir Boniface Gwotbit, described his elevation as God’s plan and that he would synergize with the commissioner and staff of the ministry to project the good image of the state. He used the opportunity to thank Governor Simon Bako Lalong for finding them worthy to serve in this capacity.

In their separate remarks, Director Broadcast and New Media, Ministry of Infor and Communication, Wulime Goyit, Managing Editor of The Nigeria Standard Newspaper, Paul Jatau and the Acting Chief Librarian, State Library Board, Simon Labwat expressed confidence that the Permanent Secretary would deliver on his mandate.
