Group celebrates with Plateau Governor–elect

A social cultural group from the Pengana Chiefdom in Bassa Local Government Area, (LGA) of Plateau State has celebrated with the Governor-elect, Barr Caleb Mutfwang following his victory at the March 18 gubernatorial election where he defeated other opponents to emerge winner.

The locals registered their felicitation during a courtesy visit to the Plateau State Governor-elect, Barr Caleb Mutfwang recently at the Government House Rayfield, Jos.

Leader of the various ethnic nationalities in Pengana, Bassa Local Government Area, Stanley Agargo said Barr Mutfwang is well celebrated in Pengana and they received the news of his victory with happiness, said Akawu.

Speaking, Mutfwang promised to deliver on his mandate and appreciated them for their massive support, cooperation and collaboration.

“Look at the bigger picture. Once there is unity, nothing is insurmountable,” he said.

Mutfwang acknowledged that he has been given a trust by Plateau people and he is not taking it for granted.

He encouraged them to hold strong the bond of unity for a better Plateau.
