Hon. Sani Golden, member representing Mangu Constituency has visited JED Regional Office in Bukuru to request for the immediate restoration of electricity in Gindiri.
During the visit, Hon. Sani explained that the power outage has put his constituents under serious hardship as normal life and businesses have collapsed due to the outage.
Responding, the Technical Engineer in charge of the region, Engr Galadima, assured the lawmaker that his request will be looked into immediately. He pointed out that they, as a company, are also losing a lot as a result of the power cut.
It would be recalled that Gindiri town and surrounding areas have been without electricity for about two months as a result of burned relay cables.
