Mutfwang showers accolades on NLFA

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has commended the New Life For All ( NLFA), also known as Sabon Rai Don Kowa for sustaining the burden of spreading the gospel of Christ for the salvation of mankind.

The Governor made this known when the National Chairman of the New Life For All, Reverend. Dr . Stephen Panya Baba and his Executives paid him a courtesy visit at the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos, recently .

According to the governor, they would at all times celebrate the church for the significant role it played in establishing educational and health institutions which led to civilization and well being of the people irrespective of religious affiliation.

Gov. Mutfwang who described the Church as critical partner in national development, assured them of government’s support at all times.

He said they came into government at a critical moment when crisis was rife but revealed that the security paraphernalia were able to brought it under control and is being sustained.

The governor noted that the late Paul Gindiri gave New Life For All an identity and prayed for such leaders to emerge for the propagation of the gospel.

Earlier, Rev .Dr . Stephen Panya Baba, the National Chairman NLFA informed the governor that they were in the Governor’s office to commiserate with him over the crisis that had rocked the state where many were maimed and killed describing it as unfortunate.

According to the Chairman who is also the President , Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), said spiritual and church leaders were disturbed about the killings and explained that it necessitated for relief materials they distributed to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in various camps within the state with the assistance from their partners both in Nigeria and abroad.

Rev. Dr .Baba enumerated some lined up programmes which NLFA intends to embark upon and called on the state government to support them in that direction.

He commended Governor Mutfwang for the resilience exibited in curtailing the crisis in Mangu, Bokkos, Barkin -Ladi, and Riyom Local Government Areas as well as ensuring that the IDPs were taken care of.

The ECWA President called on people of the state to rally round the governor in fighting the bandits that are unleashing terror on the people, assuring him that the Church were with him in prayers.

In the same vein, the General Overseer of the Dunamis Gospel International ,Dr Paul Enenche recently too paid a courtesy visit on Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos.

According to the him, he could not come to Jos and not pay a visit on the Governor as he stressed Jos was his second home where he schooled with the governor and started his ministry.

Dr. Enenche frowned at what was happening in the state, most especially the killings in some local governments of the state and assured the governor that whatever has a beginning must have an end saying they are in deep prayers for the state for the restoration of peace.

The General Overseer said that it was the work of the enemy of the church who were bent on making the state ungovernable. But prophesied that the Governor would definitely leave the state far better than he met it.

Governor Mutfwang who said he was very elated to receive Dr . Enenche and his wife, also a schoolmate, explained that the state was under threat but was of the belief that the crisis would soon be over.

According to the governor,he would forever remain grateful to the church for the role they are still playing for the restoration of peace on the Plateau.
