PLSG commiserates with Gov Sule over loss

Plateau State Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Tyoden, Monday led a high-powered government delegation to commiserate with the government and people of Nasarawa State over the demise of Hassan Sule, son of the state governor, Abdullahi Sule.

On the delegation to sympathize with the governor on behalf of Governor Simon Lalong were some top government officials including the Council of Chiefs and Emirs at the Government House, Lafia, the state capital.

Presenting the condolence message, the Deputy Governor described the death at age of 35 years as devastating.

He said death was inevitable and such it could come at any time and encouraged them to accept it as the will of God.

Tyoden explained that as brothers and neighbors, Plateau State will continue to identify with Nasarawa State and urged the governor and the immediate family to be strong in the face of their trying moments.

The Emir of Lafia, Justice Mohammed Sidi Bege who responded on behalf of the governor and people of the state, appreciated the delegation for the show of concern in their time of grief.

The Emir noted that Plateau State was still home and closest neighbor who always identify with them in good and difficult moments.

Among the delegation were the Gbong Gwom Jos, Jacob Gyang Buba, Mishkaham Mwaghavul, John Hirse, the Emir of Wase, Mohammadu Sambo Haruna, some elders in the state, Arc Pam Dung Gyang, Nde Joshua Waklek, some Commissioners and Special Advisers.

Our correspondent reports that the delegation was on arrival received by Governor Abdullahi Sule, his Deputy, Emmanuel Akabe and Emir of Lafia, Justice Mohammed Sidi Bege as well as some top government officials at the Government House, Lafia.
